Myths about the fire appearance

The process of the fire meeting turned a lot in the social consciousness and especially in mythology. People started to explain the appearance of the fire with the gods and mythological heroes who gave this fire to humanity. Usually such myth was building on the motive of stealing.
For example, in Australia one of the myths written in the texts of one of the tribes says that the only owner of the fire was the animal that didn't want to share it with anybody. Other animals were discussing how to conquer the fire and everybody tried to steal it. Then the falcon made unsuccessful attempt, he caught the little burning piece but dropped it and the dry grass started to burn. In such way humanity got to know about the fire.
The Indians of the North America had the similar myths of the more high level of development. In the myths the main hero is the thief of the fire that gives it to people. This is the cult hero and the mythological character that is well known almost by all people of the world. People say that he established many traditions and the introduction of the cultural phenomena. The fire itself is reflected as the material object that is stolen and given to people. There was no incarnation or personification of the fire in such myths.
Another type of myths proper for well developed tribes and peoples is based on the personification of the fire. It is usually personified as the mother of the fire or the proprietor of the fire. People of Siberia and North still call this goddess in such way.
